BIOGRAPHY
Mamie Crofut married George Thompson about 1892-1893. They had two
daughters, Estelle Thompson, born in 1894, and Grace Thompson born March 1893.
George was a clerk in an Express office in 1910. He died before 1920.as
did their daughter Grace. Like her
mother and grandmother, Mamie was left to fend for herself She and
her mother Maggie lived together in 1920 and 1930 and both were employed
as gold cutters.
