BIOGRAPHY
Eliza Flinn was born in Ireland, but neither the names of her parents,
nor the date of her immigration, are known. She married
George W.
Hine about 1857 as either his second or third wife. After the death
of George in 1893 Eliza and her spinster daughter Sadie continued to live
together at their home on Hillside Avenue in Naugatuck, Connecticut.
In 1900 Sadie paid the taxes on their home, valued at $26,000 dollars.
Eliza must have died before 1910 as she was no longer living with her
daughter Sadie and was not found in the 1910 census.
