CONTINUES INQUEST
Coroner John J. Phelan continued yesterday his hearing into the death of
Alton F. Heig the two-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Heig who was
killed on North Main Street, Stratford, Saturday evening.

The funeral of Alton Francis Heig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew F. Heig, was
held yesterday afternoon from Putney chapel. The Rev. Ernest C. Carpenter,
pastor of the Stratford Methodist church, officiated. The burial was in
Putney cemetery.

WILL HEAR PARENTS
The hearing in the matter of the death of the two year old child Alton Heig
who was killed by being thrown from a team on North Main street Stratford
Saturday evening has been continued by Coroner John J. Phelan. This case is
continued so that the testimony of the parents of the child, Mr. and Mrs.
Heig may be heard. Both parents were injured at the time of the accident and
are now under care of a physician.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Heig are recovering from their accident of a week ago,
when they were injured in Putney and their little son was killed. They are
with Mrs. Heig’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Baldwin.
